Sex Chat Line Privacy and Safety
Quick answer: calling a sex chat line is private in the sense that you do not need an account, an app or to give your name on this site. It is not anonymous: the call appears as a premium-rate charge on the phone bill, calls are recorded to comply with PSA regulations, and your number is visible to the service unless you have hidden it. Plan around those three facts and you stay in control. Updated 28 October 2026.

What shows on the bill
A call to a 09 number is billed by your phone provider as a premium-rate call. The entry can include the date, the time, the length and the number dialled, and sometimes the name of the service. We cannot control how your provider presents it, and service details may appear on the bill. If a household shares one bill or one account, think about that beforehand. For a mobile on a contract, an itemised bill or an online account may list the call. Pay-as-you-go top-ups usually show less, but the balance still reduces.
You must have the bill payer’s permission before you call. If the bill is yours, you are fine. If it is not, ask first, because a premium-rate call can be large and awkward to explain later.
Why calls are recorded
Every call is recorded to comply with the regulator’s rules (the Phone-paid Services Authority, or PSA). The reason is accountability: recordings help resolve complaints about pricing, conduct or whether someone calling was an adult. They are not a performance. It is still worth knowing, because it means you should not say anything you would not want held on file, and you should never give the caller details that could identify you.
Keeping personal details to yourself
The conversation is entertainment, and it works just as well with a first name or none at all. Sensible habits:
- Do not share your surname, address, workplace or social media.
- Do not discuss other people by name.
- Never give card, bank or password details to anyone on the line.
- Remember that nobody on the phone can meet you. This is an adult entertainment chat service with no possibility of meeting expressed or implied, and anyone who suggests otherwise is breaking the rules of the service.
This website itself never asks for your name, address or payment details. You do not create an account, and the only data we collect is basic, consent-based analytics, which you can refuse with the Reject button on the cookie banner. See the Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy for the details.
Setting limits
- Time: choose a length before you ring, and set an alarm.
- Money: know the cost per minute (£1.00 plus your network’s access charge) and work out the total. The cost guide has examples.
- Frequency: premium-rate calls add up quickly. Decide a weekly or monthly ceiling.
- Network controls: many providers let you bar premium-rate numbers or set a spending cap. Ask them if you worry about overspending.
- Stopping texts: we may send free promotional SMS. To opt out, send ‘STOP ALL’ to 07860086062.
If calls ever stop being fun, or you notice you are spending more than you intended, stop and take a break. Support for money worries is available from free services such as MoneyHelper.
Spotting scams and look-alikes
Adult chat attracts copycats. Watch for these signs of a scam or a poor-quality service:
- A “free” call that asks for card details or a “small verification charge”.
- No price per minute shown, or a price hidden in small print.
- Numbers that are not in the UK 09 range, or that ask you to ring from abroad.
- Requests to move to a messaging app, send money or arrange to meet.
- Pop-ups claiming a local person is waiting for you.
Every number listed here shows the price beside it, and nothing on this site takes payment.
If something goes wrong
If a call was disconnected unexpectedly, if you were charged more than you expected, or if anything on the line made you uncomfortable, call the Customer Careline on 0203 455 2145. You can also raise a complaint with your own phone network. Keep the date, time and number you dialled. If you believe someone under 18 has used the service, report it straight away to the careline.
A quick privacy checklist before you call
- Do you have the bill payer’s permission? If the bill is not yours, ask first.
- Could someone else see the bill, the online account or the call history on your handset?
- Are you somewhere private, with a door that shuts?
- Do you know the price: £1.00 a minute plus your network’s access charge?
- Have you decided how long you will talk?
- Are you comfortable that the call will be recorded?
If all six answers are comfortable, you are ready. If any is a no, fix it first or leave the call for another day.
Shared phones, shared bills, shared homes
The most common privacy slip is not the call; it is the afterwards. A call history on a shared handset, an itemised bill that arrives through a family letterbox, or a “recently dialled” list can all give the game away. Practical fixes: clear the call log if the handset is yours alone, switch to e-billing if you control the account, and avoid calling from a work phone or someone else’s device. None of this is about secrecy for its own sake. It is simply that an adult entertainment call should be your business unless you decide otherwise.
Looking after yourself
Entertainment lines are meant to be a light, occasional treat. If you notice you are calling more often than you planned, spending money you cannot spare or hiding the calls in a way that makes you uncomfortable, take a break. Talking to a friend, your phone provider about a spending cap, or a free money advice service can help. Nobody will judge you for hanging up and deciding not to ring again for a while.
What this website knows about you
Almost nothing. The site is a directory: it shows numbers and explains how the service works. It does not ask you to register, it does not take payments and it never sees the number you ring from. Two small things are stored in your browser. The age-confirmation cookie (called age_gate) is set when you press Yes on the age check, and it lasts for the visit or for a year if you tick Remember me. A cookie-choice entry in your browser’s local storage remembers whether you accepted or rejected analytics. If you accept, anonymous usage statistics help us see which pages are useful; if you reject, none are collected. You can change your choice at any time with the Cookie settings link in the footer.
Tapping a number opens your phone’s dialler. From that point the call is between you, your network and the phone service, outside this website.
Questions
Is it anonymous?
You do not give your name on this site and there is no account, but the call is billed through your phone provider and recorded for regulatory reasons.
Can I hide my number?
Most networks let you withhold your number, but premium-rate services may not accept withheld numbers. If it does not connect, try again with your number shown.
Do you store my phone number?
This website does not receive your phone number. Calls go to the phone service, which is run by Datapro Services Ltd.
Who can I ask about a charge?
Your network provider, and the Customer Careline on 0203 455 2145.
Can I stop promotional texts?
Yes. Send ‘STOP ALL’ to 07860086062.
